Resolved: Need of assistance
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. With the help of the site Pissed Consumer, I got an email that offered me contact info specifically Scribds costumer service mail that I couldn't find on their site.
So I contacted them and they helped me delete the account from which I got charged it seemed that someone stole my card info and used it, not quite sure yet. I've gotten a partial refund.
Preferred solution: I want them to stop charging me. I have multiple evidence that I've canceled my subscription. And a refund if possible

Dissapointed that they are withdrawing subscrfiption
Hi, I rarely use scribd, however sometimes there may be an article that I want that appears to be there. On many occasions I download and the article is not the full article but just a synopsis.
Scribd force you to put your card details in as part of the 30 day free subscription. As I have been caught before, once I download anything I always go and cancel my subscription. Imagine how I felt when I found out that scribd has been deducting the subscription fee for the last 3 months.
I have checked my accounts and cant find how this has happened. Not happy about this and want a refund Danny Sacco

"Subscription suckered" into wasting $230
Scribd never even attempted to contact me after a trial period with no usage for two years. Yet, the company had no issue in charging this single mom who needs to take care of three kids $230 over the course of two years, while I never used the service over that period.
This is A SCAM. A more fair and just company policy would be to AT LEAST reach out to people you are charging monthly if it appears that they have never accessed the service.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. I don't know how the owners and employees sleep at night, and I KNOW I am not the only person money has been stolen from in a large quantity over time due to being "subscription suckered" through a trial "deal."
Appropriate company response: I would REALLY appreciate a REVIEW of my use of this service and a refund of months and months of charges that I can put to better use by getting some food on the table for my trio.

I had a serious medical condition. Could you please issue a refund?
In October or November I was offered a free one month subscription to Scribd. Althought Scribd was already taking money out of my account, on Nov.
23, through Google. Scribd had already taken $14.94 from my Paypal account on Nov.
20!! I have written and called them...
In February of this year, I became very ill, was incapacitated, hospitalized for a period and off work until this month.
I was unable to use my scribd subscription. I attempted to cancel my Scribd subscription and indeed on my account, it showed that it had been cancelled.
However, my paypal account has been charged monthly all this time. The last charge was on Sept. 20 for $14.94 CDN.
During my illnes, it was very challenging to contact you to know what was happening.
I am requesting that you please refund these last 8 months of subsciption costs when I was not using your service at all. Now that my health has returned and I am working again, I would be fine to restart my subscription again.
I have 2 email addresses. I am unclear which you have on file.

Lack of Cust Service, *** web design
The website is unresponsive; customer service is non-existent. I cannot access my account.
I have to click on the sign-in button numerous of times before I can get to the login page. Once I enter my log in info, it redirects me back to the home page! WTF?! I've done it so many times that I'm now locked out.
I clicked on the "Forgot Password" and entered my email, I have yet to receive an email to reset my PW. I have sent two separate emails and the replies did not address the issue. They provided a BS ticket number, which is a link, but when you click on it; it takes you to the home page! There is no status update or resolution.
I cannot even log in via the app, despite entering my correct login info. I called this number,415-233-****, but it's a recording directing you to the online support page.
Since I cannot access my acct, I removed my CC from my PP acct to avoid any future charges. F*ck'em.
